What this team has been doing for the community

Independent research that doesn't stay on a hard drive — teaching, building, publishing.

Research Timeline

2024
Started independent remote-sensing research; first NDVI experiments using MODIS archives.
2025
Built Desertflow core: per-region CatBoost specialists + Bayesian-ridge router architecture (B2).
2026 — Active
Scaled to 133 WWF ecoregions × 22 years × 19 driver modules. Leakage-audited cross-continental R² ≈ 0.93.
2027 — Planned
EarthArXiv preprint, open benchmark dataset release, and global dryland forecast service.

Research ML Climate

Desertflow Global Bundle

Per-region NDVI forecasting across 133 ecoregions using Google Earth Engine. R² ≈ 0.93 with leakage-audited methodology.

Active June 2026
Tools ML

Bundle Framework

Open-source PySide6 desktop GUI for running per-region ML experiments at scale. Schema-agnostic, supports custom drivers per region.

In progress Spinoff project
Research Methodology

Leakage Audit Protocol

A documented protocol catching the four failure modes most NDVI forecasting studies miss: sister-vegetation features, shared scalers, leaky CV splits, pheno-prior contamination.

Active Preprint planned
J ESP32 مساعد
Hardware Voice AI C++ / C#

Jack the Robot

A hand-built voice-assistant robot. Custom ESP32 firmware streams audio to a C# cloud relay; Whisper + GPT-4o + TTS handle Arabic end-to-end.
